FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Mild swelling, tightness, sensitivity or redness may occur after the treatment and generally subsides within a few days. Following the doctor's instructions is important for lasting results.
Sagging facial skin and contours: Reduces sagging in the lower and middle face, naturally lifting and firming the facial contours.
Jawline and facial contour definition: Defines the jawline and subtly redefines the shape of the face — a non-surgical solution.
Marionette lines: Softens deeper folds and lines around the mouth, restoring a fresher, more youthful appearance.
Neck and submental area tightening: Firms the skin of the neck and the area beneath the chin, producing cleaner contours.
Loss of skin firmness and tone: Stimulates collagen production to improve skin elasticity, support and overall quality.
A medical consultation and assessment are carried out before the treatment. The thread lift can be performed under local anaesthesia. During the procedure, absorbable threads are placed beneath the skin to lift sagging tissues and stimulate collagen production.
A degree of firming may be noticeable earlier, but because of the collagen stimulation, the result continues to develop gradually, typically over 3–6 months.
Is the procedure painful?
The treatment is performed under local anaesthesia, so it is well tolerated and involves minimal discomfort.
What should I expect after the treatment?
Mild swelling, a sensation of tightness and redness may occur, all of which resolve within a few days.
A thread lift is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or in the presence of active skin inflammation, infection or broken skin. A consultation with the doctor is also required in cases of clotting disorders, autoimmune conditions or known hypersensitivity to the ingredients.
