Botulinum Toxin Treatments

Why choose this treatment?

Botox treatment

Over the years, the combined effects of facial expressions, sun exposure and the natural decline in the skin's elasticity can lead to the appearance of fine lines on the forehead, around the eyes or between the brows. The targeted application of botulinum toxin, more commonly known as Botox, softens these expression lines, leaving the skin smoother and the face looking rested and refreshed.

Botulinum toxin treatment targets expression lines by temporarily relaxing the relevant muscles. The result is a smoother, fresher facial expression, while natural mimicry is preserved.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The first step is a detailed consultation, during which we discuss your goals, the achievable results and the possible risks. The treatment itself takes only a few minutes: the active substance is delivered through small, targeted injections into the appropriate muscles.

The effect develops gradually, generally over 7–10 days, leaving the skin looking firmer and smoother. The result typically lasts 4–6 months and can be repeated as desired.

  • Strenuous exercise, sauna, hot baths, sunbathing or solarium.

  • Alcohol consumption (which may increase the risk of bruising).

  • Facial treatments (e.g. microdermabrasion, massage) for 24–48 hours.

These restrictions help to ensure longer-lasting results and reduce the risk of side effects.

  • Regular repetition: a follow-up and repeat treatment are recommended every 3–4 months.

  • Sun protection: intense UV exposure can accelerate the formation of wrinkles.

  • Skincare: hydrating and antioxidant ingredients support the health of the skin.

  • A healthy lifestyle: sufficient sleep, a balanced diet and avoiding smoking.

Most side effects are mild and temporary:

  • Localised swelling, redness or minor bruising at the injection site.

  • Headache or mild muscle tension during the first few days.

These usually resolve within 24–72 hours.

  • During pregnancy or breastfeeding.

  • In cases of certain neuromuscular conditions.

  • In cases of allergy to the active substance or any of the excipients.
