Frequently asked questions
After a microneedling treatment the skin may be temporarily red and more sensitive, with mild swelling or small pinpoint marks occasionally appearing. Intense exercise, sauna and strong sun exposure should be avoided for 24–48 hours after the treatment.

Is the procedure painful?

When is it not recommended?
The treatment is not recommended during pregnancy, or in cases of active skin inflammation, infection or recently tanned skin.
What should I expect after the treatment?
Temporary redness and mild sensitivity may occur, all of which resolve within a few days.
